October 2020 Newsletter

Happy Fall, MAE!

September was a wonderful month for us here at MAE, and we are looking forward to the great things in store for us in October! The students and families have done an amazing job transitioning back to the expectations and routines of school. Thank you for all you have done to ensure we had a smooth, safe, and healthy return to school.

I also want to thank you in advance for your support during the Fall Fundraiser. Our school and students enjoy many "extras" because of the support our families provide through PTO memberships and the fundraisers. The funds we raise during our Fall Fundraiser this year will be going to outdoor updates such as a shade for the picnic area near the playground. We are also hoping to raise enough funds to replace our outdated marque with a digital one.

Finally, I want to thank you for choosing to be a part of the MAE family. MAE is a better place because you and your family are a part of it. We are so blessed to serve such responsible, respectful, creative and caring students. Your students come each day with a smile, and they are excited to learn and help others in any way they can. It is a privilege for us to have the opportunity to protect and teach them each day.

Please continue to reach out to us throughout this year with any questions and concerns you may have. You can reach us at 601-856-2951. You are also welcome to email your student’s teacher or me at mphilley@madison-schools.com

Sincerely,

Melissa Philley
