A Message from the Principal
Greetings MAE Family,
November is an exciting month for us here at Avenue. As we move into a season of holidays and celebrations, all of our students have been participating in exciting field trip experiences. On Tuesday, November 11, we will honor our veterans for their special breakfast and program. We have our annual Scholastic Book Fair happening November 17-21, 2025,and our Thanksgiving Lunch for 1st Grade and 2nd Grade on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Our Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast will be on Friday, November 21, 2025 We will be closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday November 24-28, 2025. Classes will resume after Thanksgiving break on Monday, December 1, 2025. Check with your child's teacher or call the school for more details regarding each of these experiences. Your presence and support for these events are greatly appreciated in advance.
During this month of gratitude, we are so very thankful to have the opportunity to serve and educate our students to the best of our abilities in our wonderful school community. As always, please know you are a very important part of your child's educational process. It truly takes a village for our students to shine as brightly as they do each day. Thank you for your continued support.
In service of students, staff, & community,
Dr. Kristal Pollard Epting

Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Location: Madison Avenue Lower Elementary Cafeteria
Dear Families of Madison Avenue Upper and Lower Elementary,
We are excited to invite you to our second annual Multicultural Fair! This is a wonderful time for all families to come together to teach and learn about different cultures from around the world.
Everyone Can Participate: You do not need to be from another country or culture to participate. We want to learn and share about as many countries as possible.
Get Involved: We encourage students and families to create a poster display representing a country of your choice. Share its traditions, food, music, and art! This is a chance to showcase your heritage and educate others about the beauty of your culture.
What to Bring: Posters or displays about your country of choice, wear or share traditional clothing or artifacts, samples of traditional food (if possible) or candy, activities, music or games related to the culture of the country you choose.
Join us for a night filled with food, music, and cultural exchange. Bring your family and friends to experience the richness of our community!
Please let Mrs. Lee know if you are interested by November 11th by emailing her- kan100@madison-schools.com -Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Lee will need to get enough tables for each group.
Please join our Remind group @MAECF or text 81010 and include the message @MAECF.

We hope to see you there! More information to come!
Upcoming

Thank you to all the parent volunteers who supported the October "Glow and Grow" AR Party! Students who met their first nine weeks AR goal had a blast playing bingo, glow writing, getting their faces painted, dancing, making a bookmark, and decorating a cookie snack. These fun activities are only possible with the support of volunteers.
The next AR party is on December 18; the theme is "Pancakes and Pajamas." A volunteer signup will be shared in late November or early December.
