A Message from the Principal:
Greetings Families of MAE,
April is now here, and we are excited about all the wonderful things happening around our campus! We look forward to having as many families as possible support our Arts on the Avenue even on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 5:00p.m. to 7:30p.m. Our students have worked on unique art pieces on display throughout our school.
Class Pictures are on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, so send our students to school "picture ready."
Our Muffins with Moms event will wrap up the month with each grade level having their own morning for this special event.
April is also the season for end of the year assessments and screeners to see how much our students have grown academically since the beginning of the year. Your child's teacher will send you information about these dates to mark on your calendars. Please be sure to have your students at school on time each day to participate in our end of year assessments and the fun field trips, theater presentation, and Field Day to come in May.
Thank you for your continued support of our school as we continue to "Move the Mark of Excellence" each day.

Kindergarten Class Program
Last Friday, the Kindergarteners put on a wonderful performance of The 3 Billy Goats Gruff. Parent volunteers did an incredible job of supporting the performance with the stage decorations. Special thanks to MAE's wonderful music teacher Mr. Hawkins for his hard work with the program!!
We are offering a digital download of the performance. You can purchase at www.maept.com/shop and select which performance. The links with the performance will be sent at a later date to the email provided. All proceeds go to provide additional support to MAE's music program!
Remember that class pictures will be taken on April 9th!
Arts on the Avenue is next week!!!
We hope everyone is planning to come to Arts on the Avenue next Thursday from 5:00-7:30! It is such a fun event with students and local artists showing their work, a musical performance by 2nd Graders, food trucks, and more!
We can't wait to see you all!
Spirit Night
We have a Spirit Night on April 16 at Chick Fil A in Madison! Keep an eye on your student's folder for a flyer coming home soon! A portion of the proceeds come back to the school!

PBIS Carnival
End of the year PBIS celebration will be carnival themed, and we need some help with bags of candy for prizes! Please see the sign up genius linked below!
Please have all supplies to school by Friday, May 2. Please send all items to school labeled for PBIS - J Davis
We will also need volunteers to work the event, so stay tuned for that sign up!
