Message from the Principal:
Greetings Families of MAE,
I want to welcome each of you to the 2025-2026 school year. We have completed the first full week of school, and wow, what an adventure already! The halls have been filled with laughter, smiles, fresh haircuts, and excitement as staff welcomed back our students for the first days of school. We thank you for your support of our Meet the Teacher event.
If you have not already done so, please join our school-wide Remind group in which you will receive important updates regarding severe weather, dismissal updates, special events, as well as, "First Fridays with the Principal," a monthly video update on the first Friday of each month this school year, regarding all things happening at MAE.
Parents may eat lunch with their children starting Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Please sign in at the office to receive a visitor pass before joining your child in the cafeteria. Parents of students with birthdays in August may bring a treat to the classroom, as well as serve as a guest reader. Contact your child's homeroom teacher to make arrangements.

PTO MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
Don't forget to sign up for your PTO membership!! The PTO helps meet the needs of students, teacher, and administrators by raising funds and connecting parents to volunteer opportunities at the school! The PTO coordinates the Scholastic Book fair, designs the yearbook, fundraises, and provides newsletter with important updates to help parents stay informed of school events. The funds raised fully support the STEAM Lab, playground updates, monthly teacher and staff appreciation meals and activities, and much, much more!
