March 2022 "Springing Forward" Jag Blast
Message from Principal:
Hello, Parents!
We are so excited spring is near! We are also excited to continue to open our doors to more visitors. It has been a great year, and we are going to do all we can to make these last few months even better.
We have just a few weeks left in the 3rd 9 weeks. Report cards will be sent home on Thursday, March 24. Please plan to look at the skills on the inside and at the BAS (reading level) on the front cover. Kindergarten students should be at a Level B or higher. First graders should be at a G or higher. Second graders should be at a L or higher. If your student is below any of the required levels and/or below 80% mastery of the inside report card skills, your teacher will be reaching out to set up an at-risk conference with you. These conferences will be held during/near the week of March 28. Of course, all parents are able to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
Thank you for your continued support. I’m so proud of our students and staff and appreciate all our parents do for MAE.
Sincerely,
Melissa Philley, Principal
