MAE Jag Blast, February 2023



Message from the Principal:

Happy February, MAE!

We are enjoying a great February here at MAE, and we are so thankful to be able to spend each school day with your students. We are also so thankful for your support of our fundraiser. Our PTO and parents did an amazing job! Thank you for your generous support of the STEAM Lab.

We want to invite you to join us for lunch any day of the week for the rest of this 9 weeks. We will not allow lunch visitors during the 4th 9 weeks because of construction on our entrance. The entrance modification will begin over spring break and will wrap up during summer break. Once complete, we will have an office entrance that is separate from the lobby. This will provide our classrooms and common areas an extra layer of protection from intruders.

We will be able to allow visitors inside for activities and events that are related to the curriculum during construction. Because of parking and logistical concerns, we will not allow in visitors for things that are not directly related to academics. Before we leave for spring break, we will provide more information about how car pool will work and where you will park and enter to drop off materials, check in your child, or check out your child. The construction will be an inconvenience for us all, but it is a needed improvement at our school, and we will ensure our 4th 9 weeks is an amazing one for the kids.

  • February 24th--Read Across America Celebration

  • February 24th--FINAL deadline for ordering a yearbook! (The cost is now $50.00. Go to www.jostens.com to order.)

  • March 3rd--Kindergarten Program

  • March 6th--Kingdom Meeting

  • March 6th-9th--Make-a-Wish Fundraiser

  • March 7th--cut off for the AR Event for the 3rd 9 weeks

  • March 8th--PTO meeting via Zoom at 12:30

  • March 10th--AR Event!

  • March 10th-School-wide PAJAMA DAY! Kids will watch a movie and enjoy popcorn for meeting our Spring Fundraising goal!
