MAE Jag Blast, March 2024

Message from Principal:

Dear MAE Families,

It is hard to believe spring is almost here! It has been a wonderful year so far, and we are committed to making our last 9 weeks of instruction the best yet!

Report cards will be sent home on Thursday, March 21. Please look through each of the skills and take note of any skills that are marked with a circled L. This circled L indicates that while your child is making growth in this skill, they have not yet made the 80% mastery we expect. We require 80% mastery of skills in 80% of the listed skills on both the ELA and Math side of the report card. For example, if there are 30 possible skills listed on the ELA side of the report card, students must get an M in at least 21 of them to be considered on grade level. If you have any questions or concerns about your child’s progress on the report card, please reach out to us. Teachers will hold at-risk conferences toward the end of March and end-of-the-year conferences in April. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to great progress in the 4th 9 weeks.
