Letter From the Principal

Hello, MAE!!

It is hard to believe it is already March. Thank you for all of your flexibility and hard work at home to ensure the students meet their academic goals. We sure have had our share of ups and downs this year. I’m so proud of how our kiddos, the families, and our staff have persevered. Our school is still a wonderful, loving place full of lots of learning and laughter. As we head into spring, I’m confident that no matter what else gets thrown our way, we come together and overcome with smile and a joyful heart. As a reminder, please send your student with a comfortable and clean mask each day. We do have extras on hand and will not let a child go without, but it is difficult to keep up with the demand. I want to thank you again for all you have done to support us and the students this year. As always, feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.

Arts on the Avenue

Arts on the Ave will be virtual this year and will celebrate the art program at MAE.

More information to come later!

Accelerated Reader

March 20th is the end of AR for this quarter. Kindergarteners have started participating now as well. Don't forget to encourage your children to read and take AR quizzes.

Missed out on ordering a yearbook? No worries! The deadline has been extended to Friday.

Box Tops

The Box Tops deadline has been extended. Please join us in earning money for our school by downloading the Box Tops app here. Using the link or referral code KEP22XCG, you instantly earn $2 (equivalent to 20 Box Tops) when you scan in your first receipt! After you upload your receipt dated within the last fourteen (14) days, screen shot a picture of your "My Lifetime Earnings", and email to our Box Top Coordinator, Jess McCormack, at jessmccormack11@gmail.com. Fun incentives will be awarded to top earners, so please include your student's name, grade and teacher when sending the email.

We are also still accepting traditional Box Tops at the school.

Our celebrity readers joined in virtually to help our students celebrate Dr. Seuss Day. A big thanks to the Madison Central students who created the video read along of Oh, the Places You'll Go!
