MAE Jag Blast, March 2023
Message from the Principal:
Dear MAE,
Our 4th 9 weeks of instruction is right around the corner! Please be prepared for the entrance construction that will begin over spring break. When we return from the break, parents will need to park in the back lot and meet us at the double doors in back for any drop-offs or early pick ups. We won't be able to accommodate extra visitors during the day, so please try to keep these things to a minimum. Of course, we are always available when you need to come inside for parent meetings or to pick up a sick child.
The day-to-day events and plans for special events for the students will not change during the construction. Classes will still be able to walk through the lobby, to all areas inside our school building, and to the playgrounds. Kingdom celebrations, special programs, etc. will still occur. The major change for our school is how parents and visitors will access the building during the day since we will not have access to the front entrance doors that we have used in the past. Construction will last through the summer but will be complete before the start of the 23-24 school year.
Please be patience with us during the construction and feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
Report cards will be sent home Thursday, March 23. Teachers will be reaching out to you if they are concerned about your child's progress. You are also able to contact us at any time if you have any concerns.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Melissa Philley
